Renovated fixed pier: with increased capacity and a heavy-lift crane

In 2025, the Compas Terminal and Maritime Works team carried out the renovation of the fixed pier. The structure, which was previously made of wood, was replaced with concrete slabs, allowing for lateral expansion. This renovated pier became a key logistics hub for the aquaculture industry, featuring improvements such as CCTV and entirely underground cabling for enhanced security. Additionally, it has a load capacity of up to 4 tons due to its hydraulic arm, which enables more efficient operations for loading and unloading materials. The project included seabed cleaning, underwater welding, and specialized diving work, carried out by our commercial divers. The renovated pier not only improved our operational capacity but also represents a commitment to innovation, safety, and quality for our clients.
