In Compas Marine, the Maritime Works Engineering department supports our operations,
ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency in every maneuver. Our team is responsible for developing the Rigging Plans, which are essential for all operations involving cranes and cargo movement at sea. These are used to determine the procedures, methods and every detail that defines how each stage of the project will be implemented. They transform methods into plans and diagrams that facilitate the communication with our clients and field crews, illustrating the layout of barges, crane’s movement and the assembly sequences in order to ensure that every task is performed precisely and safely.
When the projects require subsea works, the team determines the methods to be used (Robotics or Diving) and establishes, step by step, the procedures to be followed by all field crew members. All of this is illustrated in documentation and detailed diagrams that provide a visual understanding of each step.
With a capacity of more than 300 tons on board the Yagana, we are able to provide a comprehensive service covering maintenance, onboard habitability, and worker safety (e.g. a hyperbaric chamber).
