Oxxean Chile, a leader in highly complex maritime operations, announces its rebranding as COMPAS Marine (Compañía Marítima del Pacífico Sur), a milestone that symbolizes the company’s evolution toward a business approach aligned with the needs of today’s industrial world, with a strong commitment to innovation, safety, and the integration of advanced maritime technologies.
Constant evolution and adaptation to the changing landscapes of the maritime industry have shaped the successful journey Oxxean Chile has undertaken throughout its history. Today, with over 50 years of experience, growth, and consolidation, it takes a crucial step and introduces its new corporate identity: COMPAS Marine, Compañía Marítima del Pacífico Sur.
This new brand represents the company’s strategic evolution, which seeks to further strengthen its key role in the maritime industry, reaffirming its leadership as a provider of specialized maritime services in Chile with a strong presence in the national aquaculture industry, and projecting its growth throughout the South Pacific.
“COMPAS Marine’s vision is to lead the world of specialized maritime services. Through our various services, we have steadily strengthened our position in the industry. Our mission is to continue building a legacy of excellence, where every challenge is an opportunity to find innovative solutions through high-quality, safe, and reliable services. Our hallmark, our teams, and our corporate governance remain the same, but with a different vision for the future that we wish to embody in this new brand,” said Jorge Pacheco, the company’s founder and director.
COMPAS Marine not only inherits the best of Oxxean Chile but also seeks to position itself as a leader in high-tech, safe, and quality services in the South Pacific.
With operations throughout Chile, a fleet of 26 vessels, and more than 600 employees, the company seeks to expand its horizons by responding to the challenges of a constantly changing environment, offering comprehensive and advanced solutions ranging from modern and efficient management of maritime projects; to subsea work, salvage, logistics, terminals, and specialized maritime works for aquaculture, mining, oil, and gas.
“In this new chapter, the company will continue to consolidate excellence across all our operations, growing alongside the national industry and with an eye on the future, expanding our vision toward the South Pacific,” Pacheco noted.
