Maintenance and Inspection of ENAP Single Buoys

We removed our client ENAP’s floating and subsea hoses, which had to be brought ashore for cleaning and maintenance.

We performed hydraulic and electrical tests, among others. Additionally, we worked on disconnecting, inspecting, and calibrating the single buoy’s anchor chains. For this work, we used the Clyde crane from N/A Yagana. Once the work was completed, we placed the chains on the seabed and subsequently hoisted them back up using the same crane.

In addition, we worked on replacing the PLEM (a 10-ton subsea structure used to connect pipelines for transferring oil from tankers to the terminal), which was located at a depth of 52 meters. This operation was particularly delicate due to the depth and the workload undertaken by our commercial-divers, as hydraulic tools were needed to remove the bolts and subsequently install and torque them.

After nearly 900 days of operations in the Valparaíso Region, we wrapped up our work in November. We would like to thank the crew of our A/N Yagana, Francisca Ignacia, and our OOMM Commercial Diving Team.
